“Holy s**t . I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one!” Billy wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters,” he went on, tagging the Flowers hitmaker and her younger sister.

Billy further wrote, “Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level,” adding, “Congratulations girls ! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you. I’m actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can’t see me. Have fun now and be happy !” the Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker signed the note with, “Love Dad.”

The country singer’s emotional post about his daughters comes after his son, Trace Cyrus, issued a heartbreaking plea, urging Billy to seek help. The 36-year-old musician shared a lengthy statement on his Instagram account after his father made headlines for his concerning behaviour at Donald Trump‘s inaugural ball in January.

“I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life,” Trace wrote in his post that featured a throwback photo of himself alongside Billy. “Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now,” he added.

Trace continued, “It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you. You may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point.” He then revealed that his sisters, Miley, Noah, and Brandi Cyrus, had “genuinely worried” about him for years.

However, Billy had “pushed” them all away, according to Trace, who further wrote, “Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her. That’s your baby girl. She deserves better.” He concluded the note with, “I’d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help. You know how to reach me. Till that day comes I will continue to pray for you.”
