The Tata Nexon EV‘s 45 kWh variants have received a 5 star crash test rating from Bharat NCAP, mirroring the performance of other models in the lineup. The Nexon EV 45 achieved high scores in various assessments, demonstrating its commitment to safety.

The Bharat NCAP extended the 5-star crash test rating to include the Nexon EV’s 45 kWh variants, which were later additions to the model range.

In the adult occupant protection segment, the Nexon EV scored 29.86 points out of a possible 32.00. The vehicle achieved 14.26 points out of 16.00 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. It also earned 15.60 points out of 16.00 in the side movable deformable barrier test.

For child occupant protection, the electric SUV secured 44.95 points out of 49. These results indicate a high level of safety for child passengers.

The Tata Nexon EV 45 is equipped with a 45 kWh battery pack.
