As part of its landmark thought leadership summit India@2047, ABP Network will host a powerful session titled “Testing Endurance”, bringing together three of India’s most iconic women in sport—Mithali Raj, Rani Rampal and Lovlina Borgohain. Spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the one-day India@2047 summit will take place at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on May 6, bringing together industry leaders, visionaries , sports personalities and changemakers to discuss India’s journey toward becoming a developed nation by 2047.
“Testing Endurance” will allow viewers to delve into the personal and professional journeys of these athletes—each of whom has defied odds to etch their names in Indian sporting history.

About Mithali Raj
Mithali Raj is a former Indian cricketer who led the national team from 2004 to 2022. Widely regarded as one of the greatest female cricketers of all time, she is the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket with 7,805 runs to her name.
Over the course of her career, Raj has received several prestigious honors, including the Wisden Leading Woman Cricketer in the World (2017), the Arjuna Award (2003), the Padma Shri (2015) and the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award (2021).
She holds multiple records in international cricket, notably being the only woman to score over 7,000 runs in Women’s One Day Internationals (WODIs). Raj was the first to register seven consecutive fifties in ODIs and also holds the record for the most half-centuries in WODI history.
About Rani Rampal
Rani Rampal, born on December 4, 1994, in Kurukshetra, Haryana, is an Indian coach and former field hockey player. She made headlines at just 15 years old by becoming the youngest member of India’s national squad at the 2010 World Cup. Known for her versatility on the field, Rani played primarily as a forward but also contributed as a midfielder.
Over the course of her career, she represented India in 212 international matches and scored 134 goals. In recognition of her achievements and contribution to Indian sports, she was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2020.
About Lovlina Borgohain
Lovlina Borgohain, born on October 2, 1997, is an accomplished Indian boxer who etched her name in history by winning a bronze medal in the women’s welterweight category at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics—becoming only the third Indian boxer to achieve this feat at the Olympics.
She clinched the gold medal at the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships, adding to her earlier bronze wins at the 2018 and 2019 editions of the tournament. Hailing from Assam, Borgohain holds the distinction of being the first female athlete from the state to compete at the Olympics and only the second boxer from Assam to do so. In recognition of her achievements, she was honoured with the Arjuna Award in 2020, becoming the sixth recipient from the state.
