April 2026
Stefano Rosso appointed chair of Aura Blockchain Consortium
Background: Swiss-based non-profit Aura Blockchain Consortium has appointed OTB Group’s Stefano Rosso as its new chair, succeeding Prada Group’s Lorenzo Bertelli, who remains on the board. Rosso has sat on Aura’s board since the Italian fashion group joined the consortium in 2021. The Aura Blockchain Consortium was founded in 2021 by LVMH, OTB Group, Prada Group, and Richemont to add digital traceability to luxury’s supply chain via blockchain technology. Today, the consortium counts more than 50 luxury brands in its organization and has registered over 80 million products on its blockchain. As part of Aura’s governance model, the role of chair rotates every five years, which a spokesperson said seeks to ensure “equality and collaboration”.
Effective: April 29, 2026.
Company comments: “Today, Aura represents far more than a technology platform. It embodies a vision for the future of luxury,” said Rosso. “Taking on this role is both an honor and a responsibility. In a context where trust is becoming increasingly central, our ambition is to help define a global standard that ensures transparency, protection, and value throughout the entire product lifecycle.”
Sol de Janeiro appoints Jordan Saxemard as CEO
Background: The Brazilian-inspired beauty brand has named Jordan Saxemard as its next CEO, taking over from Heela Yang, who founded the company in 2015 and will be exiting the business. The brand was sold to L’Occitane Group in 2021, but Saxemard joined the brand in October 2025 as global chief marketing and digital officer, after leadership positions at Dyson and Coty. In Saxemard’s new role, he will be tasked with scaling Sol de Janeiro and overseeing its operations.
Effective: April 29, 2026.
Company comments: “Jordan Saxemard has already made a significant impact at Sol de Janeiro. This transition ensures continuity of leadership and positions him well to build on the brand’s strong momentum as it enters this next chapter,” said Reinold Geiger, L’Occitane Group chair and CEO, in a statement.
Casablanca appoints Didier Nguyen as CEO
Background: Paris-based fashion house Casablanca has named Didier Nguyen as its next CEO. Nguyen joins the brand with a CV spanning key roles at Amiri, Saint Laurent, Dior, Givenchy, and more. Now is a pivotal time for Casablanca, as the company continues to expand its presence globally and cement its place at the intersection of sport, travel, culture, and luxury. The appointment follows the transition of former CEO Frederick Lukoff, who has led the brand since 2023, into a senior advisory position.
Effective: April 27, 2026.
Company comments: “Didier shares the same passion for beauty, craft, and storytelling that sits at the heart of everything we do and are. We connect on so many different levels of culture and values, there is a genuine respect and I am excited to build the next chapter of Casablanca together,” Charaf Tajer, founder and creative director, said in a statement.
