Claude Campus Ambassadors Programme: Claude has invited applications for its Campus Ambassadors programme, giving students an opportunity to work with Anthropic and promote AI learning and engagement on their campuses.
The programme has three tracks for undergraduate students, graduate students, and PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. Selected campus ambassadors will receive a cash stipend of USD 3,600, approximately Rs 3.39 lakh, subject to the terms and conditions of the programme.
Applications opened on September 1 and will remain open until September 12. According to Claude, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The programme will run from September 2026 through June 2027.
Students from across the world can apply. However, Claude said graduate and PhD programmes may initially be open to students from a smaller group of institutions as part of the pilot phase.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have work authorisation in the country where they are studying.
Claude Campus Ambassadors Programme: Tracks
The programme offers different opportunities depending on the applicant’s level of study and area of interest.
For undergraduate students
Undergraduate students interested in helping their peers develop AI skills can apply to lead a Claude Builder Club on their campus.
Selected ambassadors will work with Anthropic to establish and run a community for AI builders. Their responsibilities may include organising technical and non-technical workshops, hosting hackathons and demo nights, and sharing updates, tips and resources such as API credits with club members.
The programme may also provide opportunities to participate in events featuring Anthropic speakers.
For graduate students
Students pursuing STEM or humanities master’s programmes can apply to lead Claude Campus Conversations.
The track focuses on discussions around AI and its impact on education and society. Ambassadors will be expected to organise discussion groups and events, while also creating opportunities for students to showcase and discuss projects they have built using Claude.
Participants will also have opportunities to visit the Anthropic office and connect with other ambassadors from around the world.
For PhD students and postdoctoral researchers
PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who use AI in their research can apply to lead Claude Science workshops for fellow researchers.
The programme aims to help ambassadors build communities of AI-focused researchers on their campuses. They may organise Claude for Science workshops, participate in speaker events involving Anthropic’s mathematics and science teams, and explore how AI is influencing different areas of scientific research.
The programme will also provide opportunities for participants to interact with Anthropic scientists through workshops and research-related activities.

According to Claude, the programme will give selected students access to AI workshops conducted by the Anthropic team. It is also designed to help participants develop their AI skills while working with Anthropic teams to promote AI fluency on their campuses.
The programme also offers an opportunity to connect with students and researchers from different parts of the world who are interested in exploring how AI can contribute to human progress.
Participants will additionally have opportunities to share feedback with Anthropic on Claude’s features and product ideas. Claude said ambassadors’ feedback could help inform the development of its products.

Students and researchers interested in applying should check the eligibility requirements for their respective track before submitting an application. Applicants must be 18 or older and have work authorisation in their country of study.
The application window is open from September 1 to September 12, with applications being reviewed on a rolling basis. The selected ambassadors will participate in the programme from September 2026 to June 2027.
