Morin joins HarbourView during a period of expansion for the firm.
HarbourView, which MBW reported last week is on track to surpass $4 billion in assets under management, has continued to close catalog deals across the music business.
The firm acquired the producer royalties of David Kershenbaum in a deal announced on September 3, including his share from Tracy Chapman‘s Fast Car.
In June, the firm acquired the publisher’s share of select songs from Wolf Cousins, the collective founded by Max Martin and Shellback.
That catalog includes songs recorded by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and The Weeknd, among others.
The Quincy Jones estate sold select music and non-music assets to the firm in March 2026. The company also acquired a majority stake in the catalog of Slipknot in November 2025, while T-Pain sold his publishing catalog and select masters in February 2025.
Other acquisitions have included Stefflon Don‘s full pre-2024 catalog, spanning both publishing and recorded music rights, plus select publishing and recorded music assets from Noel Zancanella, Full Force, and Jeremih.
The firm’s portfolio also includes catalogs and rights tied to Kelly Clarkson, Luis Fonsi, Fleetwood Mac‘s Christine McVie, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, Nelly, Hit-Boy, and Kane Brown.
To fund its acquisitions, HarbourView has secured a total of $1 billion in debt financing across two KKR-led private securitizations, in March 2024 and June 2025.
HarbourView invests in businesses and assets powered by intellectual property across the entertainment, sports, and media markets.
Beyond music rights, the firm has invested in portfolio companies across media and entertainment, leading a $30 million investment round in animation studio Lion Forge Entertainment in September 2025.
HarbourView was founded in 2021 by Sherrese Clarke and is headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
The firm says it has amassed more than 70 music catalogs to date, amounting to a diversified catalog of around 41,000 songs across master recordings and publishing income streams.Music Business Worldwide
