MNRK Music Group has acquired the recorded catalog of Black Label Society, the influential heavy metal band founded by Zakk Wylde.
The catalog spans more than two decades and contains 11 studio albums, according to MNRK.
Titles named in the company’s announcement on Tuesday (September 15) include Stronger Than Death, Order of the Black, 1919 Eternal, and The Blessed Hellride.
The deal also covers live releases, compilation projects, EPs, Wylde‘s solo recordings, and the largely acoustic 2013 live album Unblackened, MNRK said.
MNRK didn’t disclose the value of the transaction.
The company says the deal builds on a partnership with Wylde that goes back years, and that it opens up opportunities around reissues, catalog curation, and legacy campaigns.
MNRK says its distribution and marketing will push the catalog further across streaming, vinyl, and new formats.
Wylde will stay involved in how the music is presented, according to the company.

The acquisition follows MNRK’s purchase of Los Angeles-headquartered metal label Prosthetic Records in June 2025.
Prosthetic, which has released records by acts including Lamb of God and The Acacia Strain, now operates under the MNRK Heavy umbrella.
The value of that transaction wasn’t disclosed either, and MNRK said at the time that the purchase was a step in its investment in heavy music.
MNRK says the Black Label Society deal deepens that commitment, and expands its investment across established catalogs and newer acts.
Black Label Society released its most recent studio album, Engines of Demolition – the band’s 12th, and not part of the MNRK acquisition – on March 27 this year.
MNRK said in January that the album would be released via Spinefarm.
According to that announcement, Wylde started writing the record in 2022, during the Pantera Celebration World Tour, and continued through 2025.
MNRK Music Group was known as eOne Music until September 2021.
The rebrand followed Hasbro‘s sale of the business to entities controlled by Blackstone for USD $385 million in 2021.
Sean Stevenson has run the company since July 2024, following the resignation of then-President and CEO Chris Taylor.
MNRK describes itself as one of the largest independent music companies in the world, operating in all major music markets, and says its catalog across divisions comprises 70,000 music tracks.
