Direct-to-fan platform EVEN has launched EVEN STUDIO, a product that gives artists a standalone destination to release music, sell tickets and merchandise, and connect directly with fans, the company announced on Tuesday (September 29).
STUDIO is built on the artist’s own domain and, EVEN says, is designed to bring together fan experiences that are typically spread across multiple platforms and sites.
According to the company, artists can use STUDIO to release music or other content, sell tickets and merch, host livestreams, build community, and offer special access and experiences.
A central feature of the STUDIO launch is a rethink of the traditional album pre-order.
Rather than asking fans to buy an album and wait until release day to hear it, artists can give purchasers immediate access to up to four tracks ahead of release on STUDIO, with early-access music rolled out over the course of the campaign.
EVEN notes in the release that, under applicable chart rules, qualifying redeemed album sales can be reported to Luminate and count toward the charts.
The company is pitching the STUDIO model as giving fans a reason to buy immediately, because purchasing the album “starts the music.”
According to EVEN, artists and their partners can generate direct revenue, build momentum toward release day, and establish a direct relationship with their most engaged fans, while the wider release can still go out on streaming services.
“Artists have built enormous audiences across streaming, social and live, but the relationship with those fans is still fragmented across places they don’t control. STUDIO gives artists a destination of their own.”

“Artists have built enormous audiences across streaming, social and live, but the relationship with those fans is still fragmented across places they don’t control,” said Mag Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of EVEN.
“STUDIO gives artists a destination of their own. That means a fan can buy an album and start hearing it immediately, while the artist can build toward release day and chart impact.
“But STUDIO is much bigger than an album. It gives artists a place to bring whatever they want to create directly to their fans.”
EVEN is positioning STUDIO as complementary to streaming rather than a rival to it, describing its strategy as “EVEN and streaming, not EVEN or streaming.”
Artists can continue to use DSPs for broad reach while offering their biggest fans the option to buy directly and receive something extra.
The company says a STUDIO can also continue beyond an album’s release, extending into physical music and merch, content and community, livestreams, tour announcements, presale registration, ticket access, waitlists, hospitality, and other fan experiences.
For labels, managers, and distributors, EVEN says every direct purchase can become the start of a permissioned fan relationship that carries into future releases and other parts of an artist’s business.
For promoters, tour owners, and ticketing partners, the company argues that STUDIO can connect the same audience directly to live demand, turning an album buyer into a ticket buyer, and a ticket buyer into a merch or hospitality customer, rather than starting over with each transaction.
“The goal isn’t to give artists another platform to manage,” said Rodriguez. “STUDIO is a product we build and operate for them.
“The artist brings the creative vision and decides what they want to give their fans. We provide the product and infrastructure to make it happen.”
EVEN says STUDIO isn’t built around any one type of release: an album, a tour, a ticket onsale, a comedy special, a piece of content, a merch drop, or an ongoing fan community can all sit at the center of one.
EVEN STUDIO is available by invitation to artists and their partners.
Artists access the EVEN platform through two products: consumer-facing discovery platform EVEN Marketplace, and EVEN Studio, white-label product that turns artist websites into fan destinations.
Founded in 2022 by Rodriguez, EVEN launched in April 2024 and lets fans pay for music before it reaches streaming services, with artists receiving daily payouts and retaining ownership of their fan data.
According to the company, the platform supports more than 30 global payment methods across 140 currencies, with eligible sales reported to Luminate for Billboard chart inclusion.
EVEN says it has onboarded more than 500,000 artists across over 3,000 labels and distributors in more than 110 countries.
The company struck a multi-year agreement with Universal Music Group in February 2026, establishing EVEN as a direct-to-fan resource for the major’s labels and artists.
It has also signed partnerships with distributors including Too Lost, Symphonic, and Secretly Distribution, and with independent music company Cinq Music in June 2026.
According to EVEN, it powered the pre-release campaign for J. Cole‘s The Fall-Off, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 in February 2026.
The STUDIO launch follows the appointment of Josh Remsberg, formerly SVP, Head of Commercial Strategy and Revenue at Warner Records, as EVEN’s Head of Commercial Partnerships on September 25, 2026.
