Actor Ram Kapoor is back on Instagram with a new selfie, but his latest appearance has left fans divided. While many praised the actor’s noticeably slimmer face and sharper jawline, others expressed concern over his dramatic weight-loss transformation and urged him not to go too far.
On Monday, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor shared a selfie from his car, admitting that he was feeling tired.

Social Media Divided
Soon after Ram Kapoor shared the selfie, fans flooded the comments section with reactions to his appearance. While many fans praised his new look, others expressed concern and asked him not to go “too extreme.”
Some fondly recalled his classic “golu-molu” appearance from shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, and a few compared him to Karan Johar.
A user wrote, “Mr Ram I loved your Golu molu face. Don’t mind, I may be your mother’s age. God Bless and take care. I have watched Bade Achae lagte hai n number of times. Loved it.”
“You have lost too much weight,” commented another.
Another user wrote, “Looking great sir. PS: Please be more active here, we missed you”.
Some users wanted to know what he has next on his plate. Another user wrote, “Looking good. When are you doing another reality show? You are so cool and chilled to watch.”
“Damnnnn sir you look great, not tired at all. It’s so good to see your face again. I hope you get some time to rest and recharge soon,” remarked an individual.
Ram Kapoor’s Weight Loss Journey
The actor, who was last seen in the streaming reality show Lock Upp 2, stunned fans with his jaw-dropping transformation in 2024, shedding an impressive 55 kilos. He weighed around 140 kg at his peak, but bought down to 55 kg after an 18-month journey with intense workout and diet.
His transformation journey, however, hasn’t been a smooth sail. The actor’s dramatic 55-kilogram weight-loss transformation sparked speculation about his alleged use of the controversial weight-loss drug Ozempic.
While the actor has denied using Ozempic for weight loss, the actor supports its use under medical guidance. On the Humans of Bombay podcast, he clarified, “Karan Johar, me, all of us who go through this Ozempic nonsense, you know why we don’t react? It’s because we know all these people know it; they are mad.”

“Ozempic is an injection that you have to take once a week. Without a doctor, you cannot take it. ‘It’s a shortcut, it’s not natural, live your life as healthy as you can,’ they say. Why the hell would you not take a shortcut if the doctor is telling you to?” he added.
