Since everyone’s been talking about using AI for travel planning these days, we did something simple. We gave three of the biggest AI tools the exact same prompt, asking them to plan a Himachal trip under Rs 50,000.
While the question was the same for all three tools, the answers were quite different.
Here’s what each one said and what you can actually take away from it.
ChatGPT
ChatGPT planned for two people right away and here is the route it suggested.
Day 1 – Delhi → Shimla overnight Volvo. Mall Road, Christ Church, Ridge area
Day 2 – Kufri day trip, local cafés, sunset viewpoints

Gemini is the only AI that brought Jibhi into the picture and that alone makes it interesting. Here is its route:
Day 1 — Arrive Manali. Hadimba Temple, Old Manali cafés
Day 2 — Solang Valley by scooter (Rs 500– 800/day). Drive through Atal Tunnel into Lahaul
Day 3 — Manali → Kasol by HRTC bus. Parvati River, Israeli cafés
