Ashok Leyland reported a 5.82 per cent rise in its total commercial vehicle sales, reaching 24,060 units in March 2025. This growth was driven by a strong performance in the domestic market, and contrasted with a previous year’s sales figure of 22,736 units.
Ashok Leyland saw its total domestic sales increase by 6.24 per cent YoY to 22,510 units in March 2025. Within this domestic market, sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) experienced significant growth, rising 11.78 per cent to 16,082 units. However, sales of light commercial vehicles (LCV) declined 5.47 per cent to 6,428 units during the same period.
Ashok Leyland manufactures and sells a diverse range of commercial vehicles. Their product line also includes engines for industrial and marine applications, along with forgings and castings.
