The BCCI issued a verbal advisory to all IPL teams and other stakeholders to be aware of a certain businessman from Hyderabad who came up on the radar of the Anti-Corruption Security Unit (ACSU). The businessman was seen allegedly making attempts to approach the players from different teams with proposals for dishonest practices in lieu of money.
According to sources, the BCCI has formally alerted all key stakeholders involved in the IPL — including franchise owners, players, coaching staff, support personnel, and even commentators — about the actions of a Hyderabadi businessman, who reportedly has a with a muddy background. He is also allegedly connected to and makes deals for bookies.
