Chris Hemsworth recently dropped a series of photos and videos on Instagram from his Japan tour, captioning, “Photo dump from Japan trip.”
The pictures featured Hemsworth alongside his wife, Spanish actress and model Elsa Pataky, and their three children—daughter India Rose and twin sons Sasha and Tristan—enjoying a snowy retreat.
Some snapshots showed the Thor family skiing and spending quality time together.
Hemsworth fans are ‘mad’ over son’s finger image
However, one particular image sparked debate among followers. The photo in question showed one of Hemsworth’s sons holding up his middle finger to the camera. Some users found it very “inappropriate” for a child.
“Love all the pics… except when ur kid was giving the finger,” one user wrote.
Another user chimed in, saying, “Nice thing to be teaching kids to give the middle finger, really.”
“Picture #3 makes me sad to see. Someone who is this young should not be showing this sign,” one commented.
“Posting a picture of your son doing the middle finger is not funny and I’m not a Karen. I’m a mama who would never let my son do that period. It’s inappropriate,” another said.
However, many dismissed the uproar as an overreaction, commenting, “Y’all so mad over the middle finger and it’s so humorous lmfao.”
One user agreed, “My kids love giving me the middle finger salute too. It’s all about context and it is not at all suggestive of the kind of kid or their behavior.”
Hemsworth and Pataky quietly tied the knot during the Christmas holidays in 2010, welcomed their children five years later in 2015.
Pataky, known for her role in the Fast & Furious franchise, first gained fame in Spain through the hit TV series Al salir de clase, which aired from 1997 to 2002.
