Krunal Pandya was the star of the evening for RCB, smashing an unbeaten 73 off just 47 balls after delivering a miserly spell of left-arm spin. It was Krunal’s first fifty-plus score in the IPL since his debut season in 2016. Virat Kohli also continued his fine form in run-chases, scoring 51 off 47 balls – his fourth fifty-plus score in IPL 2025 while chasing.
RCB had multiple heroes on the night, a refreshing change for the franchise this season. With the ball, Bhuvneshwar Kumar led the charge with three wickets, while Josh Hazlewood and spinner Suyash Sharma contributed crucial spells to restrict Delhi Capitals to 162 for 8 in 20 overs.
