Arshdeep Singh has become the all-time leading wicket-taker for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He went past Piyush Chawla, who held the top spot earlier with 84 wickets from 87 games at an economy rate of 7.52. Arshdeep got the wicket of Phil Salt to set the record for PBKS, after which he went on to dismiss Virat Kohli as well.

Salt tried to go for a pull shot to a delivery that wasn’t quite short and paid the price for it. Salt got a top edge and Josh Inglis took a simple catch. Kohli, on the other hand, attempted a full-flooded pull shot, but ended up missing it. Kohli tried to clear mid-on, but holed out to Marco Jansen.
