Till the 13th over, you don’t know where the game was going, (On Karun Nair’s batting) We were out of options with the way he was batting. The way he was batting and he took the chances. It shows the hard work he has done for a number of years to come in and get going.”
“(On Karn Sharma) Fantastic. Karn coming in and showing what he can do. Showed a lot of heart to bowl in this small stadium. Not easy to bowl here with short boundaries but he kept tossing it up and showed his character. I have always believed that fielding is something which can change the game upside down. We were switched on. We were saying to each other that let’s back each other and happy to come out on top.”
“(On tonight’s batting order) It’s always going to be dependent on the situation. Want to give the players who are in form more chance. It was very dewy in the end and we will see how the batting order works in the next games. Just by making sure that the game is not over until it’s all over. Let’s not give up. Let’s show character.
