Kia India has announced the rollout of its 1.5 millionth vehicle from its manufacturing plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The milestone vehicle was the Carens, which has accounted for over 240,000 units of production since its introduction.
Kia India also confirmed that it will launch a new version of the Carens on May 8.
Expansion since 2019

The Carnival has contributed over 16,000 units to the cumulative output.
The Anantapur plant, spread over 536 acres, has become a key manufacturing and export centre for Kia, with vehicles shipped to more than 90 countries.
