Mahindra has marked a significant milestone in its electric mobility journey, announcing that over 3,000 units of its all-electric Origin SUV models—the XEV 9e and BE 6—have been delivered to customers since deliveries began on March 20, 2025.
The XEV 9e currently accounts for 59 per cent of total bookings, while the BE 6 holds 41 per cent. Notably, a majority of customers are choosing the top-tier “Pack Three” variant, reflecting high interest in advanced features and premium specifications.
Due to the strong demand, waiting periods have extended to as much as six months in certain regions. Mahindra has stated that it is ramping up production and delivery capabilities nationwide in an effort to reduce wait times and enhance the overall ownership experience.
To further support customers, Mahindra is providing a set of curated video guides with every delivery. These tutorials cover essential topics such as efficient charging practices, range optimisation driving techniques, and how to use the vehicle’s advanced connected features—helping owners get the most out of their new electric SUVs from day one.
