The All-India CPI-IW (Client Worth Index for Industrial) for July 2024 elevated by 1.3 factors and stood at 142.7 factors, a labour ministry assertion stated.
It was 141.4 factors in June 2024.
“Yr-on-year inflation for the month of July 2024 moderated to 2.15 per cent as in comparison with 7.54 per cent in July 2023. The year-on-year inflation for the month of June 2024 was 3.67 per cent as in comparison with 5.57 per cent in June 2023,” it acknowledged.
