An FIR (First Data Report) has been filed towards veteran allrounder Shakib Al Hasan over the alleged homicide of a garment employee throughout a mass protest in Bangladesh on August 5.
The FIR has been filed with the Adabor Police Station in Dhaka and the nation’s former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her high ministers are among the many 147 individuals named within the FIR alongside Shakib. The FIR has been lodged by Rafiqul Islam, father of the deceased Mohammed Rubel.
As per a report by The Day by day Star, Shakib, a former member of parliament of the Awami League (Sheikh Hasina’s social gathering) is the twenty eighth accused within the FIR.
Nonetheless, Shakib was not in Bangladesh on August 5 when the incident passed off. The 37-year-old allrounder was busy plying his commerce for Bangla Tigers Mississauga on the World T20 Canada event in Canada.
Shakib was representing Bangladesh on the ICC Males’s T20 World Cup within the USA and the Caribbean in June after which participated within the Main League Cricket the place he turned up for Los Angeles Knight Riders.
Notably, the protests intensified and turned extraordinarily violent in August which finally compelled Sheikh Hasina to flee the nation and take refuge in India.
