Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported a 33 per cent year-on-year growth in its April 2025 sales, selling 27,324 units compared 20,494 units sold in April 2024.
Of the total sales in April, 24,833 units were sold domestically while 2,491 units were exported. This growth was achieved despite a planned maintenance shutdown from April 21–25.
Sustained momentum
Commenting on the results, Varinder Wadhwa who is the vice president of Sales, Service & Used Car Business at TKM said, ‘This growth is a testament to our commitment to offering the Indian market the right products and technologies at the right time.’
‘Our multi-pathway approach, which provides diverse technology options, has enabled us to respond positively to shifting customer needs and has ensured strong demand across our line-up.’, he added.
He also highlighted the encouraging customer response to the newly launched Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
