Volkswagen is gearing up to introduce the all-new Tiguan R-Line in India, a premium SUV that promises to raise the bar with cutting-edge technology and next-level convenience.
Soon to be launched, the Tiguan R-Line brings together sporty aesthetics, modern functionality, and a digital-first driving experience, the company said in a media release.
At the core of the Tiguan R-Line’s appeal is its advanced digital cockpit. The 26.04 cm fully digital instrument cluster is expected to offer multiple customisable information profiles, tailored to meet the needs of modern drivers. Built on Volkswagen’s fourth-generation Modular Infotainment Toolkit (MIB4), the cockpit is designed to offer intuitive control, seamless connectivity, and a visually rich interface.
The Tiguan R-Line will feature a 38.1 cm infotainment touchscreen—one of the largest in its segment—delivering a clean, user-friendly experience with an updated menu structure and enhanced graphics. Volkswagen will also offer wireless app-connect for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with wired options and wireless charging.
Voice-controlled convenience and driver-centric features
Volkswagen is introducing its IDA voice assistant in the Tiguan R-Line, allowing drivers to operate key infotainment functions through natural voice commands. A newly integrated voice enhancer will further improve in-cabin communication. The SUV is also set to feature a new heads-up display (HUD), projecting essential information such as speed and assistance system alerts directly into the driver’s field of view for safer, distraction-free driving.
True to its sporty DNA, the Tiguan R-Line will offer a sophisticated cabin layout complemented by a multi-function driving experience switch with an integrated TFT LCD display. A audio system with eight speakers is expected to deliver an immersive soundscape, while the seamless integration of navigation data across displays ensures an intuitive and unified driving experience.
Customers will soon be able to pre-book the SUV at authorised Volkswagen dealerships or through the official website.
