A lifelong Aston Villa supporter, Prince William has frequently been spotted attending England and Villa matches. He was present in the stands for Villa’s match against PSG along with his son Prince George, where they witnessed his side take an early lead before succumbing to a second-half comeback.

The Prince was even seen greeting the Aston Villa players like Marcus Rashford and Marco Assensio, as they geared up for the match in the dressing room.

Morgan Rogers gave Villa the lead in the 25th minute, but PSG equalised through Dsir Dou in the 39th minute from a well-worked set piece. Just four minutes into the second half, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s dazzling strike turned the tide. The win was sealed in stoppage time with Nuno Mendes scoring PSG’s third in the 90+12 minute.

Villa now face an uphill battle in the second leg at Villa Park on April 16, where they’ll hope to overturn the deficit and keep their European dream alive.
