Tremors have been felt in components of north India as a 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. The earthquake struck at 9.34 pm, the Nationwide Middle for Seismology stated. Delicate tremors have been additionally felt in Chandigarh and components of Punjab and Haryana. The quake lasted for a couple of seconds.

“I felt a robust jolt lasting a few seconds. Simply once I was considering of speeding downstairs, the tremors stopped,” stated Sanjay Kumar, a Chandigarh resident.
