
The initial public offering (IPO) of Gaja Alternative Asset Management witnessed strong demand from investors for its Rs 550 crore issue. The focus now shifts to the share allotment process for successful bidders, scheduled for Aug. 24.
The issue remained open for subscription from Aug. 19 to 21. Its listing is scheduled on NSE and BSE with a tentative date of Aug. 26.
If allotted, shares should reach investors’ Demat account on Aug. 25, ahead of listing. The refund status will also be initiated on the same day.

Ahead of its listing, Gaja Alternative Asset Management IPO displays strong listing gains for investors. The issue’s latest grey market premium (GMP) stands at Rs 17 as of Aug. 24 at 7:30 a.m. Given the IPO’s upper price band of Rs 160, the estimated listing price comes to be Rs 177.(cap price + today’s GMP). The issue is a combination of fresh issue of 2.81 crore shares aggregating to Rs 450 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 63 lakh shares aggregating to Rs 100 crore.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management IPO price band was set at Rs 152 to Rs 160. The lot size for an application was 93 shares. This means that the minimum amount of investment required by an individual investor (retail) was Rs 14,880 (based on upper price).
