Following the screening, Salman Khan shared an image from the occasion on his Instagram Tales. The snapshot captured the celebrity posing together with his sister Aprita Khan, brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and their youngsters – Ayat and Ahil. Whereas the couple twinned in black outfits, Salman opted for an off-the-cuff and funky look. In his caption, Salman merely wrote, “#Ruslaan.”
In an NDTV assessment, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Ruslaan 1.5 out of 5 stars. He wrote, “Ruslaan is a painfully bloated concoction that options an invincible fighter dedicated to his nationwide and private mission. On the slightest provocation he launches right into a harangue towards people who forged an evil eye on India and frequently preens about his unalloyed deshbhakti. Ruslaan is marred by the yawning hole that separates intention and consequence. The protagonist passes himself off as a music trainer who by no means lets his guitar out of his sight. How we maintain wishing that he would select violence over music.”
