In a fresh attack against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress Rahul Gandhi fired the saffron party over the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple. While addressing a public gathering at Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, amidst the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Gandhi claimed that the OBCs, Dalits, and Backward Class people who represent 73 per cent of the total population of the country, were not seen anywhere during the consecration ceremony.
“Did you see the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple? Was there a single OBC face? There was Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Narendra Modi,” he said.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event of Shri Ram Lalla was held on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi presiding over the ceremony, led by a group of priests.
Earlier on Monday, Rahul Gandhi resumed his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Prayagraj, after meeting the family members of the Forest Department watcher who was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Wayanad.
He abruptly halted his Yatra in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on Saturday and rushed to Wayanad following a public protest over the deaths of residents in wild elephant attacks.
The Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, succeeded by the party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, aims to cover 6,700 km through 15 states, with Lok Sabha polls around the corner.
While the Bachchan father-son duo was spotted at the mega event in Ayodhya last month, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan was not present during the ceremony.
During the pran pratistha ceremony at Ayodhya, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were welcomed by a mob of fans. Amid the flurry of pictures and videos on social media, one particular picture featuring Big B and Abhishek Bachchan greeting Narendra Modi was spotted.
