The PM has laughed off a query about whether or not he’s a part of the “deep state”.

Requested by Conservative MP William Wragg about former PM Liz Truss’s claims she was undermined by the “deep state”, he repeatedly stated it was a “query for her”.

However he went on to joke to MPs on the Liaison Committee that he wouldn’t be capable of say if he was a part of it.

Ms Truss instructed Conservative Political Motion Convention (CPAC) within the US that her efforts to chop taxes throughout her temporary interval in Downing Avenue have been “sabotaged” by “the deep state”.
