To alleviate the chaos, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) took swift action by deploying three short-loop trains between Majestic and Baiyappanahalli, aiming to clear the rush, as stated by BMRCL’s Chief Public Relations Officer, B L Yashavanth Chavan, as reported by Deccan Herald.

Although the snag was resolved by 9:20 am, the aftermath continued to disrupt train schedules. Chavan mentioned that it would take another half an hour for the services to stabilize. He assured commuters, stating, “We are working diligently to restore trains to their regular frequency as soon as possible.”

This unexpected technical issue created a challenging morning commute for Purple Line passengers, highlighting the importance of quick and efficient solutions for the city’s metro system.
