Cameron Hoy has been appointed Group CEO of Australia-headquartered TEG, effective June 1.
Hoy replaces Brad Banducci, who is stepping down from the role at the end of May – just over a year after he was appointed to lead the live entertainment and ticketing company.
TEG announced the leadership change on Wednesday (May 20).
Banducci said he had joined TEG to carry out a specific mandate – and that the time was now right to hand over the reins.
“When I joined the Group just over a year ago, I came in to do a specific role – to set the Group up for the next horizon of growth,” said Banducci.
“I felt the time was right to transition leadership of the Group.

“With that in mind, I wanted to announce that, consistent with our succession planning, Cameron Hoy our Chief Operating Officer has been appointed as Group CEO effective the 1st of June.”
Banducci added: “Cam has been part of the live entertainment and ticketing industry for more than 20 years – through growth, change and every version of this industry and it feels appropriate to pass on the baton to someone who has made such a major contribution to building the Group we have today and who is committed to the next chapter of delivering as the partner of choice for venues across the live events spectrum.”
Hoy said: “TEG exists to partner with the world’s best venues, promoters and rightsholders to connect fans to the moments that matter most and I am honored to lead such an entrepreneurial business and team.”
Hoy has served as TEG‘s Chief Operating Officer and Head of Global Ticketing since December 2023, when he was promoted from Managing Director of TEG subsidiary Ticketek.

He joined Ticketek Australia in 2007 and rose to the Managing Director role in 2015.
Prior to joining TEG, Hoy spent years in the technology, e-commerce, media and entertainment industries in Australia, including stints at News Corp Australia and Nine Entertainment.
TEG is one of Asia Pacific’s largest live entertainment and ticketing companies, selling over 30 million tickets per year for more than 300 venues across 15 countries, according to the company.
Silicon Valley-based technology investment firm Silver Lake acquired TEG in 2019, with minority co-investor Mercury Capital.
AustralianSuper also holds a stake in the business.
Banducci was appointed TEG’s Group CEO in March 2025, replacing longtime chief Geoff Jones, who moved into the role of Chairman after 14 years leading the company.
Banducci came to TEG with over 30 years of leadership experience in the retail and consumer sectors, most recently as CEO of Woolworths Group – a position he held for more than eight years before retiring in September 2024.
Hoy inherits the top job at TEG at a time when the Australian live events market continues to see strong touring activity, with major international artists including Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Iron Maiden, and Harry Styles among those with scheduled 2026 arena and stadium dates across the country.Music Business Worldwide
