Palghar:

Per week after a 21-year-old lady from Maharashtra’s Palghar district was discovered hanging, the person with whom she was in a relationship has been booked for abetment of suicide, police mentioned on Monday.

The person, Sameer Pandurang Pawar, a resident of Vikramgad within the district, was booked on Sunday underneath Indian Penal Code part 306 (abetment of suicide) on a grievance of the girl’s mom, they mentioned.

The girl was discovered hanging from a tree on March 18. Investigations revealed the sufferer and the accused steadily engaged in telephonic conversations, typically marred by disputes and suspicions relating to the sufferer’s character, they mentioned.

The girl’s mom emphasised that her daughter was in a dedicated relationship with the accused for the previous three years and so they had been planning to get married, mentioned the police, quoting the grievance.

Therefore, she mentioned her daughter’s alleged suicide appeared implausible, attributing her loss of life to the accused’s suspicious conduct and frequent quarrels, they mentioned.
