New Delhi: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed CEAT to sponsor certain segments of the IPL matches. Adding to this the company is going to invest INR 240 crore in the coming 5 years for sponsoring IPL matches, said the company’s regulatory filing.

For IPL 2024, BCCI, the apex body of cricket, has already sold out 4 sponsorship slots so far and the total sponsorship amount sums up to INR 1,485 crore. AngleOne, RuPay, and My11Circle have also invested for the IPL 2024 along with CEAT.

CEAT, a part of the RPG Group company, manufactures tyres for several auto segments like passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, and some other products.

IPL is going to commence from March 22, 2024 at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai with Chennai Super Kings, the defending champion, competing with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). It will conclude on April 7,2024.

Schedule for the first 21 matches has been revealed. The rest will be disclosed after the announcement of the Lok Sabha election dates.
