Around 200 funds have allocated their investments to Zee Entertainment Enterprises shares. Among these, 126 are mutual funds, accompanied by 10 PMS, 59 ULIP and 3 AIF.

In the last year, the Indian stock market has seen a remarkable rise. The BSE Sensex went up by 23%, and the Nifty-50 increased by 27%. Last year, investors made huge profits by investing in small-cap stocks. Even now, some of these stocks are still included in the top list of investors.

According to a report from CNBC TV18 Hindi, institutional investors, including mutual funds schemes, portfolio management services, ULIPs, and alternative investment funds, have invested in certain small-cap stocks. Here are five stocks that have garnered considerable attention from significant funds:

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals: 237 funds have been invested in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals. These include 154 mutual fund schemes, 11 portfolio management services, 70 ULIPs, and 2 alternative investment funds. The stock of Crompton Greaves is currently trading at Rs 288. A brokerage firm called Prabhudas Lilladher has set a target price of Rs 384 for this stock.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises: Approximately 200 funds have allocated their investments to Zee Entertainment Enterprises shares. Among these, 126 are mutual funds, accompanied by 10 PMS, 59 ULIP and 3 AIF. Zee Entertainment has been receiving significant attention following the breakdown of its merger deal with Sony.

Birlasoft: Birlasoft stocks have shown an impressive 191 per cent return to investors in the last year and a significant 67 per cent increase in the past six months. A total of 195 funds, including 92 mutual funds, 9 PMS, and 94 ULIPs, have decided to invest in Birlasoft shares.

PVR and INOX: Many investors favour PVR and Inox stocks, with 195 funds currently holding investments in these shares. Among these funds, 110 are mutual funds, 11 are PMS, and 74 are ULIPs. In the recent trading session on Friday, PVR Inox shares closed at Rs 1,389. ICICI Securities has forecast that the price of PVR Inox shares will reach Rs 2,240.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India: Last year, investors in Multi Commodity Exchange Share (MCX Share) saw substantial gains, with an impressive 164 per cent increase over 12 months. Currently, 187 different funds have been invested in MCX stock. These include 110 mutual fund schemes, 18 PMS, 55 ULIPs and 4 AIFs.
