Bear in mind the film premiere scene from the 1993 movie Pehla Nasha? The sequence featured the Khan trio – Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Saif Ali Khan — in cameo roles. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Pehla Nasha was headlined by Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bhatt, and Raveena Tandon. Just lately, Deepak Tijori opened up about how Saif’s ex-wife, actress Amrita Singh, by no means wished Saif to be part of the movie. In an interview with Zoom, Deepak recalled, “Again in 1993, there was a movie known as Pehla Nasha that we have been making, and surprisingly, in that movie, there was a scene during which all of us wished celebrities to return for a premiere of my character within the movie. Ashutosh Gowariker was the director and we had pals. There was one second once I was actually shocked by one thing that occurred. Apparently, there have been Shah Rukh, Saif, and Aamir who have been coming.”
Deepak Tijori continued, “Saif was preparing, this was his model. When he was preparing at house, Dingy (Amrita Singh), his then-wife, requested, ‘What are you doing, the place are you going?’ He stated, ‘I’m going for a premiere, I’m going for a shoot, so it is Deepak’s premiere and I’m going to be part of it.’ So she was like, ‘Actually? How are you going to do that? We by no means did all this stuff, you already know. Who does this?’ You go and help someone on a premiere. It was a second that was a shock to me.”
Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh received married in 1991. The 2 received divorced in 2004. Saif and Amrita proceed to co-parent their children – Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
In the meantime, Deepak Tijori is all set to make his directorial debut with Tipppsy. To want him all of the luck, Deepak’s Pehla Nasha and Sadak co-star, actress Pooja Bhatt shared a notice on Instagram.
