NEW DELHI: No less than 22 flights, together with 9 flights from IndiGo, 8 from Air India, and three from Vistara, had been diverted on the Delhi airport on Saturday night resulting from unhealthy climate situations, an official mentioned.
The diversions occurred between 3:00 pm and 6: 30 pm. Out of the 22 flights, 9 had been diverted to Jaipur, 8 to Lucknow, 2 to Chandigarh, and 1 every to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, the official added.
The Indira Gandhi Worldwide Airport (IGIA) within the capital manages roughly 1,300 flight actions each day.
