The know-how behind England’s good motorway community stops working regularly, the BBC has found.
Figures obtained by BBC Panorama have revealed a whole bunch of incidents when essential security tools was out of motion.
Nationwide Highways – the company accountable for good motorways – says the newest knowledge exhibits that “good motorways are our most secure roads”.
It says security is its highest precedence, and there are well-rehearsed contingency plans to cope with energy outages.
