Lebanese Shiite militant group has intensified its assaults on Israel army targets throughout the border.

Hamas ally Hezbollah stated on Monday it had fired “dozens” of Katyusha rockets at a military headquarters in northern Israel in response to raids focusing on villages in southern Lebanon.
Since Hamas’s unprecedented October 7 assault on Israel triggered conflict in Gaza, there have been near-daily cross-border exchanges of fireplace between the Israeli military and Iran-backed Hezbollah.
With Israel-Iran tensions at an all-time excessive, the Lebanese Shiite militant group has intensified its assaults on Israel army targets throughout the border.
A Hezbollah assertion stated it had bombarded “the headquarters of the third Infantry Brigade of the 91st Division at Ein Zeitim Base with dozens of Katyusha rockets”.
This was in response to Israeli assaults on “southern villages and civilian houses”, most not too long ago in Srifa, Odaisseh and Rab Tlatin.
Lebanon’s official Nationwide Information Company (NNA) reported Israeli strikes on the three villages on Monday.
The Israeli army stated “roughly 35 launches have been recognized crossing from Lebanon into the world of Ein Zeitim in northern Israel” and that no accidents have been reported.
It stated “troops struck the sources of the launches”.
Since October 7 no less than 376 individuals have been killed in Lebanon, largely Hezbollah fighters but additionally 70 civilians, based on an AFP tally.
Israel says 10 troopers and eight civilians have been killed on its facet of the border.
