Shubman Gill copped his first over-rate penalty as captain within the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday, March 26. The Gujarat Titans captain was fined Rs 12 lakh for sustaining a gradual over-rate throughout GT’s first away match of the season towards Chennai Tremendous Kings in Chennai.

Because it was solely the primary over-rate offence, Shubman Gill was fined Rs 12 lakh. A captain will face a one-match ban if a workforce is discovered responsible of sustaining gradual over-rate for the second time in the identical season.
