There are phases in a game where soaking up pressure and waiting for the right moment to counterattack can be just as effective.
That is where RCB may need to reassess their approach, especially with Virat Kohli struggling for rhythm. Kohli has never been a batter who needs to force the pace from ball one. His greatest strength has always been his ability to read situations, build an innings and then shift gears when the moment demands it. Asking him to constantly play at high intensity from the outset may not be getting the best out of him.
