The Indian Coast Guard on Sunday intercepted an Iranian fishing boat off the coast of Koyilandy on this district.

He mentioned as per the preliminary assumption, they had been on their technique to their native place after escaping from Iran.

“As per their assertion, they weren’t getting any wage and had been struggling ill-treatment in Iran. They mentioned they even needed to endure bodily assault from the employer. So that they escaped in the identical boat that they had been engaged in fishing,” he mentioned.
