Israeli Army Admits Aid Worker Deaths Were 'Grave Mistake' In Gaza

Israel’s military on Wednesday acknowledged it had dedicated a “grave mistake” when it killed seven assist employees from a US charity in an air strike in Gaza.

“This incident was a grave mistake,” Israeli Defence Forces chief Herzi Halevi stated in a video message on X, blaming “a misidentification -— at evening throughout a warfare in very complicated situations”.

“It should not have occurred,” he added.
