EASTERN CAPE, South Africa: Jordan Gumberg, an American ranked No. 669, was a shock winner of the SDC Championship on the European tour on Sunday when he beat Robin Williams in a playoff.
The ultimate spherical solely went to a playoff after Williams made double-bogey on the seventeenth gap to maneuver to 12 below with Gumberg.
The 28-year-old Gumberg, who began the day three pictures off the lead, holed a birdie putt from round 15 toes on the second playoff gap for victory.
