Karan Deol Hints At Joining Dad Sunny Deol And Preity Zinta’s Lahore 1947 In New Post; See Here

Karan Deol has sent fans into a frenzy with his latest social media update, hinting at a potential collaboration with his father Sunny Deol, and Preity Zinta’s upcoming film Lahore 1947. He took to his Instagram handle and shared a series of photos reading the script. In no time the photos have gone viral. Well, there is no official confirmation till now.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan Deol shared photos in which we can see him reading the script. He is wearing a red colour t-shirt and cap. “Getting into the character….#staytuned.” Bobby Deol reacted and dropped heart emojis. One of the fans wrote, “Lahore 1947 ki script hai.” Another wrote, “Kab se wait kr rha hu apki movie ka sunny sir ke sath. Plz update de do ab.”

Pinkvilla in its report mentions director Rajkumar Santoshi conducted 37 auditions to cast a young male actor for a role in the movie. As per reports, Karan Deol, the son of Sunny Deol, has also participated in the auditions. He tried out for the role of Sunny Deol’s son in the movie. Karan Deol was last seen in Vele and since then there has been no new film announcement.

Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan will collaborate for the first time. While the buzz for the film was already high, recently, the director raised the audiences’ expectations by announcing that AR Rahman and Javed Akhtar would also be a part of the film. The Indian Express quoted him as saying, “It’s a reunion with the most talented people. I worked with Aamir in Andaz Apna Apna and this time he is collaborating as a producer. On the other hand, with Sunny Deol, we made the most loved films like Ghayal, Damini, and Ghatak.” The director had added that this is the “ best dream team and rare to come together.”

Recently, Rajkumar Santoshi shared his sentiments about the pairing of Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta and said, “After a long time, Preity Zinta is again playing a very important role for the silver screen with Lahore 1947. She is indeed an extremely talented, finest, and most natural actress in our industry. Whichever character she plays she totally invests herself in it and makes the audience feel that she is made for that character. Interestingly, the audience will see her again with Sunny Deol. This on-screen pair has always been immensely loved by the audience. Above all, this film’s script demands a pair that is as accurate as Sunny and Preity.”
