Waikar, who has been fielded by the Shiv Sena from Mumbai North West seat will battle towards Amol Kirtikar of the Shiv Sena (UBT)
The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena on Tuesday declared Ravindra Waikar as its candidate from Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency. Wairkar, an MLA from Mumbai’s Jogeshwari was an in depth aide of Shiv Sena (UBT) head Uddhav Thackeray earlier than he joined the get together’s faction led by the Maharashtra Chief Minister.
Talking on the event, get together secretary Sanjay Extra stated that Waikar has been fielded by the Shiv Sena from Mumbai North West seat and he’ll tackle Amol Kirtikar of the Shiv Sena (UBT).

It has changed Gopal Shetty with Piyush Goyal in Mumbai North seat, Manoj Kotak with Mihir Kotecha in Mumbai North East constituency and Poonam Mahajan with lawyer Ujjwal Nikam in Mumbai North Central constituency. The Sena had gained Mumbai South, Mumbai South Central and Mumbai North West.
After a break up within the get together in 2022, Mumbai South Central MP Rahul Shewale and Mumbai North West parliamentarian Gajanan Kirtikar converted to the Shiv Sena led by CM Shinde. The Shiv Sena has renominated Shewale and the Shiv Sena (UBT) has renominated Arvind Sawant from Mumbai South.
The ruling BJP-Shiv Sena alliance within the state is but to announce its candidates for the Mumbai South seat. The opposition Congress is but to announce its candidate within the Mumbai North seat.
Elections to all of the six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai will probably be held on Might 20.
