Manipur information: The Manipur authorities on Wednesday (March 6) launched a “no-work, no-pay” rule for its staff who’ve remained absent from workplace “with out legitimate and accepted causes.”

An workplace memorandum by the Division of personnel and administrative reforms stated, “Officers who’re unable to attend workplace at their traditional place of posting on account of the prevailing regulation and order state of affairs within the state had been hooked up with Deputy Commissioners/line departments/subject stage places of work to allow them to perform therefrom, or for discharging such obligations as could also be assigned to them, by the Deputy Commissioners involved, or such authorities duly authorised on this regard.”

It additional said that there have been studies that “many such officers so hooked up usually are not attending places of work to which they’ve been hooked up or not reporting for obligation.”

Deputy commissioners, heads of departments have been knowledgeable to take care of register to file attendances of the stated “hooked up officers”, the round said, including that the information together with “studies of improper conduct, if any” shall be shared with these chargeable for disbursing wage of these officers.
