New Delhi: MG Motor India on Thursday stated it has partnered with the Epsilon Group for EV charging options and battery recycling. As a part of the collaboration, the automaker has signed an MoU with two Epsilon Group subsidiaries – Energy EV, for charging options and LICO, for battery recycling and second-life experience.
As per the settlement, Energy EV will present Customized Charging know-how to develop AC and DC charging options for charging options for MG’s EVs.
By means of lively involvement within the MG cost initiative – deploying 1,000 charging factors in 1,000 days inside residential communities and residences throughout India – Energy EV goals to bolster the prevailing public charging community by increasing the supply of AC chargers and introducing high-capacity DC charging choices, MG Motor India stated in an announcement.
LICO will help MG Motor India in its Prolonged Producer Accountability (EPR) obligations by offering complete battery recycling and certification providers, it added.
“Our collaboration with the Epsilon Group signifies a strategic alliance geared toward realising this imaginative and prescient by means of an environment friendly charging infrastructure which aids and enhances a round economic system by the use of second-life and end-of-life options for batteries,” MG Motor India Chief Development Officer Gaurav Gupta stated.
