NEW DELHI: The ministry of house affairs on Friday launched a cell app for Indian Citizenship candidates underneath the Citizenship Modification Act, 2019.
Eligible candidates can obtain the app from Google play retailer or apply on the official web site indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in, as per a ministry spokesperson.
Earlier, the ministry of house affairs launched a portal for eligible people.
The laws for implementing the controversial CAA had been introduced on Monday, facilitating the method of granting citizenship to undocumented non-Muslim migrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
Following the issuance of the CAA guidelines, the federal government led by Narendra Modi will start the method of conferring Indian nationality
