Rakul Preet Singh Recalls Husband Jackky's First Meeting With Her Dad: 'My Food Got Stuck In My Throat'

Rakul Preet Singh married her longtime boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani final month in an intimate ceremony in Goa within the presence of her family and friends. In an interview with DNA, Rakul Preet recalled how her father, who served as an Indian Military officer, grilled her husband Jackky, after they first met in 2021. When requested if Jackky was nervous when he met his then-girlfriend’s father, Rakul Preet Singh mentioned, “I feel I used to be essentially the most frightened. I prepped my dad and advised him ‘He’s coming and assembly you for the primary time. Don’t make it very awkward. He’s not military.’ However then fathers being fathers… ask the query straight up. However Jackky was ready.”

She added, “He had come to Delhi for my mother’s birthday. I had prepped my dad saying do not make it awkward as a result of we had simply began relationship. I advised him ‘You simply see the boy’.
