Nitish Kumar Distributes Portfolios, Retains Home, General Administration

Nitish Kumar on Friday expanded his cupboard by inducting 21 new ministers.

A day after the growth of his cupboard, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday allotted portfolios to the ministers of the NDA authorities.

Whereas Nitish Kumar retained the Dwelling and Common Administration departments, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has been given Finance and Industrial division portfolios.

One other Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, who can also be from the BJP, has been given the Street Building, Mines and Geology and Artwork, Tradition & Youth departments, a notification issued by the Cupboard Secretariat division mentioned on Saturday.

Nitish Kumar on Friday expanded his cupboard, which is lower than two months outdated, by inducting 21 new ministers. With the induction of 21 new ministers, the power of the Nitish Kumar ministry rose to 30, simply six wanting the constitutional restrict of 36 for the state.

In accordance with the notification, Nitish Kumar has additionally retained key departments like cupboard secretariat, election, vigilance, common administration and “all different portfolios not allotted to anybody else”.

Whereas BJP’s Prem Kumar has been allotted Cooperative and Setting, Forest and Local weather Change departments.

Nitish’s trusted lieutenant Bijendra Prasad Yadav has been allotted Vitality and Planning & Growth departments. Senior JD (U) chief Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been given cost of the Water Sources and Parliamentary Affairs departments. JD(U)’s Shrawan Kumar has been given the duty of the Rural Growth division.

Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Santosh Kumar Suman, has been given Info Know-how, Minor Water Sources and Catastrophe Administration departments. Unbiased MLA Sumit Kumar Singh has been given the portfolio of the Science and Know-how division.

Senior BJP chief Renu Devi has been given the Animal & Fisheries Sources division.

Portfolios of different ministers are: Mangal Pandey (Well being and Agriculture), Neeraj Kumar Singh (Public Well being Engineering Division), Ashok Choudhary (Rural Works), Lesi Singh (Meals and Client Safety), Madan Sahni (Social Welfare), Nitish Mishra (Business and Tourism), Nitin Nabin (City Growth & Housing and Legislation).
