Liam Gallagher and John Squire have achieved their first primary album with their eponymous debut collaboration, Liam Gallagher & John Squire.
The previous Oasis frontman and The Stone Roses guitarist – each Manchester rock royalty – outsold their closest competitors three-to-one, in response to the Official Charts.
Additionally they topped the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, which made up 45% of their gross sales.
Their file was the most-purchased album of the week within the UK’s impartial file retailers, claiming primary on the Official File Retailer Chart, too.
Gallagher and Squire instructed the Official Charts: “Because of everyone that went out and purchased this, it means lots!”
